First and foremost, as creative design artists, there is no greater reward than satisfied clients whose interiors reflect their style and personality. The information below is provided to communicate our design policies and guidelines to ensure that you get the most out of our services.
Custom Design Initial Consultation – We begin with an initial consultation to get to know you, understand your needs, desires and budget for your home or commercial space. During this initial consultation, our Chief Design Officer, Trista Jones Manigault, will meet with you for one to two hours depending on the size and complexity of your design project. At this appointment, it is helpful for you to provide images of styles you like from home shows, trade magazines, design books, etc., favorite items in your home or inspiration pieces in the space you would like to highlight. Our expertise is in designing and creating concept-based, color-focused interiors, and we draw inspiration from existing objects and/or art in your home and your personality. So it is very helpful to understand your preferences, style, colors, etc. to help us design the environment you desire in your home or commercial space. The initial consultation fee of $100/hour will be collected at the end of the consultation. Within two weeks of your initial consultation for individual room design, Paradigm Home will provide you with a written estimate, and if needed a sketch for each room/area to be stylized and any commissioned art pieces.
How to Get Started with Paradigm – To initiate your design project, you will need:

Wall Mural Artistry – Paradigm Home is proud to showcase the talents of artist Karen Prophet Tindall for custom wall mural artistry. Why wall mural artistry? Wall mural artistry is a unique way to tell a story in full color in your home. Our wall murals are always eye-catching, one-of-kind creations. They are a great addition for those who appreciate artistic expression and who value originality. Wall mural artistry can be beautiful on one wall or an entire room mural which is visible on all walls and/or the ceiling.
Paradigm’s wall artistry is based on a “tier rate” that reflects the amount of detail required for a standard 10’ x 8’ wall space. A simple mural painted on an 8’ x 10’ wall is considered a Tier-1 mural, with an estimated cost of $800. The more detailed and elaborate the design is, the higher the tier rate, and the mural will be priced accordingly. Before Karen can begin the mural, the wall must be base painted. Our in-house painter can come to your home to complete this. The cost for base painting is on average $300- $550/bedroom, not including the paint and supplies depending on the size of your room.
Mosaic Artistry - In celebration of Latin-styled artistry, Paradigm Home offers custom mosaics for your home. Our designers’ meticulous attention to detail creates beautiful art utilizing small pieces of tile. Our mosaic are $500 per sq. ft.
Component Images - Contemporary, transitional and sleek, Paradigm Component Images are a colorful story told on three-dimensional solid wood boxes that are hung together. This unique masterpiece displays detailed painting on all viewable surfaces of the wood boxes providing a twist on the classic mural. Our component image art is priced $450 for the first three sq. ft and $150 per additional square foot.
Metal & Enamel Artistry – For those that want a bold, daring look, Paradigm’s metal and enamel artistry is nothing short of spectacular. Our metal and enamel artist, working with our Design Directors, create custom metal artistry showcasing the themes and personality of your sophisticated interior. Our metal artistry is priced at $425 per sq. ft.
Wood Relief Artistry - Creative and colorful, clever and cutting-edge. Those are words that best describe the look of Paradigm’s wood relief artistry. If you love the unique, attention-grabbing style of art, your design won’t be complete without a dimensional Paradigm wood relief. Our wood relief designs are priced at $200 per sq ft.
How to get started with Custom Art - After you have decided to invest in a custom Paradigm art piece for your home, the first step is to finalize your proof design. To create the proof design, you will work with the artist(s) to ensure your needs and desires are captured in the art that is designed just for you. The proof design fee is $250 for all types of art noted above. Once you have approved the design, a deposit of 65% of the total art estimate will be collected, and the final payment will be due upon delivery of the art.
Drawing/Lay-outs – We assess art design fees for all custom art concepts, room lay-outs, textile combination layouts, personalization, etc. Drawing/Lay-outs are a gratis component of our design services if at least 70% of the items in the imagery are purchased. This fee is also waived if the room design totals above $5,000. If the client chooses to not purchase the design look from Paradigm a Art/Design Lay-out Fee will be charged at $250 per sketch/lay-out.
Custom Art Timeline - To guarantee quality work and craftsmanship, our delivery time for custom art is two to eight weeks depending on the size and intricacy of the project. A delivery date will be scheduled once the proof is completed and the initial deposit has been received.
